Anybody who wants to have a fun can join. We have an open membership, and both men and women can join.
Membership in our Krewe starts as low as $325, and this includes your ride on the float, your costume, and the pre-parade party!
Joining is easy. Just download the Application Form for our website, and then complete it and mail it back to us on the address stated on the Application.
You have until September 1, 2011 to pay for your membership. However, please note that a small deposit is required at the time you submit your membership application.
We will parade on Saturday, February 7, 2015
We parade in New Orleans on the traditional St. Charles Avenue parade route. Here is a map of the route.
The float ride will last approximately 3 - 4 hours.
Yes, feel free to bring snack food, sandwiches, and drinks.
Throws consist of beads, stuffed animals, toys, plastic cups, trinkets, doubloons, and anything else that you can "throw" from the float. We also have custom-made and special Pygmalion throws available for purchase.
Buy as little or as much as you want. Buy what you can afford, but buy enough so that your throws will last the entire ride. As to specific quantities and types of throws, your float lieutenant or an officer can assist you. If you purchase our Deluxe Package, your membership will include your throws, and your throws will be loaded on the float for you!
We will do our best to place you and your friends on the same float. The sooner you join, the better your chances of all riding together.
There is no specific deadline. We will accept riders as long as space is available. But you need to hurry before all the positions are taken.
You will be added to our mailing list and receive important news and announcements about meetings and upcoming events. As the parade date gets nearer, you will be assigned to ride on a specific float and be given the name and contact information of your float lieutenant. Your float lieutenant can assist you with any specific questions or concerns.
It's the greatest after parade party you will ever attend!
